
what to expect on your first mind-body visit

step 1:
Make an appointment and wait for confirmation. Fill out the in-depth questionnaires about your health history and consent forms prior to our appointment. I thoroughly assess your answers and build an understanding of your unique system before we meet.

step 2:
We start our virtual 77-min appointment with answering any questions or concerns you may have. We walk through major traumas/ significant events in your life. I educate you on neurobiological adaptive responses and basic mechanics of the nervous system and how it relates to you.
Appx 30-45 min.

step 3:
We continue to evaluate your nervous system via a breath inquiry to get a baseline on dysfunctional breathing patterns. Steps 2 & 3 allow me to assess if you are in a state of fight, flight, freeze, or a combination. How did your life experience shape how you respond to the world?
Appx 20-25 min.

step 4:
After the evaluations, you find out which stress family you belong to. We do a curated exercise together so that you can practice until the next visit. You are assigned prompts for the week to create the vision of your ideal life and how you want to be. We collaborate on next steps in your care. After this visit, I create a framework for what you will need in the coming weeks to reprogram your nervous system.
